So i got this rad new Canon G12 before i came over here as iv wanted a new and more capable camera for a while now. And im stoked with it, it takes rad photos and has heaps of wicked features, that im yet to figure out hahaha. Recently me, t-roy, and kristina had to go to Otaru to the immigration office to extend our visa's. The road to Otaru goes from Niseko all the way through the mountains before dropping sharply down to the coast where Otaru is.

First few days back in Japan for season #4

So i flew back to Japan on saturday night. I had a quick stop over in Hong Kong where i met up with Amanda, and we jumped on our connecting flight to Sapporo. I can barely sleep on planes so including the saturday i left australia i was awake for about 36 hours straight. Not fun. But the flights were smooth and the food was pretty good so it wasnt all bad. Me and amanda just moved into our new room and its a bit bigger than i thought it would be so thats pretty rad.

 This is outside my shop today, not alot of snow right now, but ill post a photo of this area in 3 months and it will prob have upwards of 5 metres of snow on it!!

This is the inside of my main store right now, its like a bomb hit it. But lucky for Skijapan, lachy is gonna kill it and restore the shop to its former glory!! And im doing it by myself at the moment!! WAM BAM SICKO SKI STORE MAN!!! hahahaha

Pre japan, and whirlwind coastal visits

So im off to japan again on saturday night. Im flying out of brissie coz im up here seeing my QLD family, dad, deanne, and caitlin. Dad is frothing coz he just got a new boat so we have been cruising around on that in the sunshine which has been rad. But before i got up here i was hanging in Byron bay for a few days with the falls crew. Im definately moving there next summer as the lifestyle is so epic. We just cruised around on longboards drinking beers and swimming and stuff.....soooo epic.

got this footage with my bro Ange in japan last season. He took it on his GoPro and it cam out pretty clear. I got myself a GoPro a couple of weeks ago so i can get heaps of footage in japan this season and make my own movies so ill be posting clips regularly  on this blog and probably facebook.

Back on the blog

So i have been super lazy for the last few months, i doubt anyone even follows this blog anymore hahaha. Im going to make a concious effort to keep this updated again so keep checking back for photo updates etc.

But the season has been going well back here in falls, we had a 50cm dump a couple of weeks ago which was pretty awesome. There are only 3 weeks left of the season so we are all gearing up for a massive pack up of the shops in readiness for us all to bail. I decided a couple of weeks ago to go back to japan again for another season, think i might be going over there early november to set up the shops. My best mate and boss in japan, joely, broke his femur a couple of weeks ago so he is gonna need alot of help to get the shops in japan sorted for the season.

Oh yeh and my bro Dane got engaged a couple of months ago and is having his engagement party this coming weekend which should be cool, unfortunately i cant make it due to work commitments but it should be a pretty rad night!

Backyard Jib session

Yesterday was one of the best park days of my life. It was blue skies, really warm, and heaps of mates to shred with....such a sick day (photos on facebook). And after the shred on the hill we hit up a small backyard jib setup our mate kayle had built, and to the amazement of everyone, t-roy was raring to go and learnt how to do board slides on a short and steep street rail. He was smashing beers and rails left right and centre!!

Bag mania - 2010

On saturday in Hanazono was the 1st annual Bag mania competition. Basically they set up the big air bag and they put on a big jam session for all the riders with prizes going to the best skiers and boarders from each category. It was pretty sick, and guess what? I came 2nd!! BOOYAA!!!

The bag was suffering from wind all day, as soon as the wind picked up the bag would kinda 'wave around' and deflate, not good when your riding in for tricks and it starts to shrink!!
