Springtime shred adventures

Japan is a random place. Its supposed to be springtime right now ie blue skies and warm temps, but japan being the crazy place it is, its still snowing around the clock. Yesterday me and some friends had the day off and woke up to bluebird skies and a foot of fresh pow. So we hiked the peak and rode the back-bowls all morning. It was clearly the idea of the day as it seemed everyone in town was doing the same thing.. Anyway, ill let the pictures do the talking!!

Just after my mate gav took that last photo, he kept shooting me until this shot. I gave him a big high speed pow spray to the face, absolutely blanketing the poor guy hahahah. Look at the smile on my face as i see him realise what im doing hahah

The boys went away and didnt lock their door...

Joel and troy went away for a couple of days last week and didnt lock their door. So me and chook came up with the wicked idea of rounding up all our mates and messing up their house. It was epic. We didnt so much 'trash' the house, we just moved everything and hid everything.

And just to add insult to injury, we cable tied the scissors together, and then cabled tied them to the cabled tied cupboard. And we hid all then knives all over the house. It was an epic day!!

Fantastic friend of the week!!

This week it goes to my best mate matty's son, Cooper. Cooper is nearly 1 yr old, likes shiny objects, animal sounds, and cutting hot laps of the veranda on all four's. Im also one of Coopers godfathers. Its wicked seeing cooper when i get home because i only see him in like 4-5 month stages so he always seems hell bigger when we hang out.

My epic trip back to Melbourne for mums wedding.

So mum got married on saturday to her new huzzy Tony. Tony is a champ by the way. So i had to fly from japan, all the way back to melbourne for 3 days, then fly all the way back to japan to keep working. Needless to say, (mum if your reading this, ya probably could of had ya wedding 4 weeks later when i was back home haha) it was an enormous mission. So on wednesday i left Niseko and headed to Sapporo airport for a plane to tokyo. Turns out the weather in tokyo was quite shit that day, and we were told we might be diverted to osaka, or worse still, flown back to sapporo.

This is my flight, Narita is tokyo's international airport. look how funny the other destination is hahaha

But alas the pilots told us they were gonna land, and after the most EXTREMELY high speed crosswind landing from hell (people were crying they were so scared!) we finally got the wheels down and landed safely. And it turned out that my buddy Wade was on the same flight as me and also had a lengthy stay in narita, and after the landing he whips out 2 complimentary passes to the Qantas lounge. What a legend!

And as you would imagine, i made the most of it hahaha

I flew from Tokyo to the Goldcoast and met up with dad as i had another 5hr stopover. It was sick to see dad i hadnt seen him in ages, and i went for a swim at Kirra aswell. Epic

So saturday rolled around and it was wedding time, the main event. Was an amazing day and the weather was super epic.

Around about 10pm a tornado hit the reception. It was tornado Dannii.....and it was awesome!!

What was she doing sitting down on the veranda?? No one knows....

The next day there was a kinda afterparty lunch at a rad country pub, which also happened to be a winery (mum and tony LOOOOOVE wine).

And thats about it, now im back at work in japan, writing this blog!!
